Getting Ready for a Smooth First Visit
For your first appointment, kindly bring your dental insurance information or card along and come earlier to complete the necessary paperwork if you haven’t already. You will also be required to fill out your new patient information upon arrival.
Additionally, please provide us with a list of any prescription medications you are currently on. You can go ahead and take your antibiotics as directed if necessary before getting the dental treatment done. Remember to speak with your physician before your appointment if you’re unsure whether you require antibiotics before the treatment.
Getting a Comprehensive Oral Evaluation
After we get your patient and insurance information on file, you will be escorted to our treatment room. Your initial session will start with a comprehensive oral assessment where we will thoroughly inspect your teeth and gums as well as capture some X-rays of your mouth. Next, we will do deep cleaning from top to bottom.
To help you attain and maintain healthy teeth, we will create a dedicated treatment plan for you. Depending on what we observed in your oral assessment, we will arrange the required follow-up visits. If you’ve got any concerns regarding the treatment throughout your visit, please don’t hesitate to tell us and we’ll be happy to talk you through it!
Getting Your Dental Insurance Sorted
We welcome a wide range of PPO dental insurance plans from providers including Aetna, Ameritas, Delta, Guardian, MetLife, and UnitedHealthcare.
